My taxes still say processing, but I filed on 2/04/18. how long till the irs accepts them? I thought it was 24hours?

It varies in different states, but normally it takes 24-48 hours. I filed early January 2018 with having to wait till the 1/29 with the child credits on the 30th my refund date was Feb 22nd tge first deposit date i got it. The 2nd date is 3/2/2018 the 3rd deposit date is 3/9/2018 and so on. As long as you fiked before febuary 8th you will get your rwfund in the month of march 2018.

My brother filed 2/4/2018 and his is still processing but he will gwt it in march.  Since he filed before the 2/8/2018 cutoff
