My tax return was accepted, but I haven’t seen the money for my tax payment deducted from my bank account. Do I need to do anything?

No, there is nothing you need to do. At this time of year it may take the IRS up to 10 days to debit your account for the taxes owed. Since your return was timely filed and the taxes owed were to paid on or before April 15, 2024 then there is no need to worry, there will not be any penalty if the IRS debits your account after the date you selected to pay the taxes.

I still have not received my taxes. The tracker still says it's only been received and not approved yet. I filed February 13. $78 deducted from my account last night.
