My tax return is 2,245 LESS than I was told I was getting!!

Where is the rest? My return is missing $2,245 and came from TPG PRODUCTS instead of IRS federal return!! My family was counting on this money! The amount was already less than we expected after Turbotax fees, so WHERE IS THE $2,245??? IN TURBOTAX SCAMMER POCKETS? If I don’t receive this immediately, I will be looking into opening or joining a class action lawsuit, because this is fraudulent and insane. 

Amend this IMMEDIATELY.

Neither TT nor TPG is informed when the IRS adjusts or offsets a refund, but it may be due to the stimulus and/or Child Tax Credit.  You will be getting a letter in the mail from the IRS in 2-4 weeks.

Keep in mind that when the IRS Accepts a return for processing, it does not mean that it has Approved the amount of the refund.  Also see:

Thank you for response. I really hope it’s sorted. I didn’t even GET the full child tax credit or stimulus.

Once your return has been accepted by the IRS, TurboTax is not notified of the adjustments.  Privacy Laws prohibit sharing information with anyone other than the client.

IRS will issue a Notice of Adjustments in a few days that should clearly explain why they adjusted the amounts expected.  that Notice will allow you to review and challenge the adjustments within a specific time frame.
