My state return was accepted with e-filing. Checking the status, the state shows they need more information from me. Weren’t my errors corrected.?

Turbo Tax emailed me my state return was accepted.

"Accepted" does not mean "approved."   Approval comes later, and apparently there is something else the state wants from you in order to process  the return and approve of your refund.   The state has the right to request identity verification or to request additional information from you.  Provide the information the state is asking for so that you can receive your refund.
