Is been more then 2 days and the irs has not accepted my return

Returns are usually accepted within 48 hours, but can take up to 72 hours. While your return is pending acceptance they are checking your personal information to make sure it matches their records, sometimes that can take them a little longer than the average estimated time.

My return has not been accepted yet, it was done on Tuesday, my brother did his and it was accepted in like 2 hours should I check it out

Mines took 5 days to get accepted I was so worried thinking the worst finally last night it got accepted I think is because they have so many returns and they had that government shutdown but just be patient we have no other choice fingers crossed
