My refund was set to direct deposit as I've done in recent years. I recently received a refund check. I live outside the U.S. and checks are costly to deposit.

I believe Turbo Tax has filed my information correctly and should pay for my refund deposit fees.

The IRS will only deposit to a US bank account. If they decide to mail you a check, TT has no control over that.

I filed my return to use a direct deposit to my US bank account.
