My Refund was mailed out on Friday 02/20/15 and I just wanted to know how long would it be to get it in the mail?

A good question and difficult to second guess the USPS. If it was mailed out it was probably late Friday and since the post office is closed on Sunday, I doubt if you get it Monday. My best guess would be Tuesday or Wednesday. Mail can take fro 2 to 8 days depending on when it's sent and where. I hope you get it Monday but don't hold your breath.

This was a post 2 years ago. It was for a Georgia refund. Georgia is very slow at getting refunds mailed and the mail is also slow. I'm not sure if service has improved very much since this post was made.

From what I heard if it's mailed Friday it will come Saturday. In nj checks always comes on saturdays and Tuesdays lol I no this post is 2 years old

Hey when I check on the IRS where's my refund it say it was mailed off on the 24th of March I still have not received my refund yet so how long does it take mail to come to the state of Alabama??

The irs tells you to give it up to 4 weeks after the date your check was mailed which will account for where it has to be sent to and any possible weather conditions they may go through you could get it 3-5 business days but it all depends on where you are having the check sent to and how long it takes mail in that area to be delivered but they tell you to give it no more than 4 weeks so if it doesn't come in 3-5 business days don't worry give them up to 4 weeks of it doesn't come after that I would do what the web site says and call them and if its a hardship issue I would suggest calling you local congressional office to asst of course that requires you to go through a few loops but it works the irs told me it could take 12 weeks due to suspicious activity I called the Congressmen office here and I a matter of a full week they had me a tax advocate and the same week I got my advocate she had a good talk with them about my situation and that Friday I had a definitive date as to when my check was to be placed in the mail
