My refund has not been approved. There was an issue within the IRS. It could be up to 5 more weeks. Is there anyway to get this fixed? No refund means I cannot pay.

Unfortunately no.

There is an issue at the IRS, and it will process accordingly.

TurboTax, nor any vendor, nor tax preparer has any knowledge of any outstanding issue with the IRS.

You may wish to contact them to inquire. Hold times can be long, but it may provide some insight.

Regardless, once the refund is approved, a letter will be sent to you explaining any changes to that refund.
