My IRS.Gov says my check is scheduled to be mailed out by March 6 which is 2day.It wasn't mailed b/c the bar is still on refund approved.Does any1 knw how long it takes?

I am just super confused as to why it says it should be mailed out on the 6th of March and it wasn't.? How long before they actually mail it out? It also says if I don't recieve it by April 3rd then I need to call. That's a long waiting period.

Since today is 3/6 the check should go out in the mail and it takes WMR to be updated from when the check was mailed. WMR updates about every 24 hours, so it probably won't be updated till at least tomorrow. The IRS states that it takes about 10 days from when the check was mail until it is received.

How long do i have to wait to receive my tax refund in the mail, if it was mailed out on the 6th of March

It can take up to 10 days but it will ultimately depend on the United States Postal Service.
