My filing status has been changed to pending? Questions?

Your email of March 23 states that I have yet to file my 2020 tax return.  I thought that I had already completed that.

Your text of March 23 states that I have not as yet filed my tax returns, yet your web site indicates my returns have filed.... pending.  Which is it. I request a reply.

Pending simply means that your e-filed return is on its way and that the government hasn't accepted or rejected it yet.  

It normally takes about 24-48 hours from the status to go from pending to accepted.  But sometimes it takes longer.  If the return is rejected, you will get an email with the reason why it was rejected and then can go back into TurboTax to make changes and file again.
