No, you do not need to amend your tax return to correct an employer's EIN. This does not affect your tax return.

No, the W2 will match the one that the IRS received.  You don't need to do anything, it is your employer's responsibility to correct their error.

No, you do not need to amend your tax return to correct an employer's EIN. This does not affect your tax return.

does the irs make the correction if the ein is only off by one number even though they accepted it
