Due to an IRS error, millions of payments were sent to the wrong accounts and some may not have received their stimulus payment.
We have been working tirelessly with the Treasury and IRS to get stimulus payments to our customers. We know how important these funds are for so many Americans and we regret that an IRS error caused a delay.
We will have more emails going out in the coming days, so if you haven’t received an email yet, it could still be on its way.
Check the IRS Get My Payment tool to see if the IRS has a 2nd stimulus payment for you. The tool should tell you where your stimulus payment was deposited or mailed. The IRS has indicated there’s nothing you can do to change where they send your payment.
If you didn’t receive an email confirming your stimulus payment is on the way:
If you were entitled to a stimulus payment but did not receive one, and you didn’t pay for TurboTax with your refund last year, you may need to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 taxes to get your money.
For the latest information, see Where's My Second Stimulus Check?
No. Sorry but your reply is pathetic. Not to mention that it's the same old automated, robotic response that you've been cutting and pasting on every blog, email and social media site. Your reply contains zero personal information or advice. Seriously, this is just mind blowing at this point. If I wasn't so enraged, I'd probably laugh hysterically at your sheer ignorance.
I'll ask again and give additional information in the hope that this time I'll get a response from someone that has two functioning braincells that could team up and give me a detailed, coherent answer. Here goes:
I received my refund in March, my 1st stimulus in April both deposited into my Turbo Visa Card's direct deposit checking account. These payments were issued flawlessly. My account and routing numbers are the same, I checked my my previous year's tax paper work to be sure. My account is still very much active, in fact I use card frequently. I know full well that your company is aware of my account being active because I used card on a rare night out and instead of depositing money into my account later that evening, I was procrastinating because I knew stimulus payments were coming fast and I knew (thought anyway) I'd get mine on card within days. But rather than that happening this all unfolded like a bad made for TV drama. Not only was I sitting around with my thumbs up my butt waiting in vain for something that was important but now seems like it wasn't gonna be enough regardless. In the midst of all this happening, your happy asses charge my account the monthly service fee which then put my account in the negative.
And to cover any additional information you may need to avoid your cut and paste BS, yes I am entitled the full $600. No, I have not gotten any emails from you besides the ones asking me to work remotely for your company. I tried the IRS
Get My Payment tool and it says information I entered doesn't match theirs. Umm, it's my SS#, birthdate and home address. No way I'm screwing that up 3 times each and every day for 2+ weeks. There is nothing preventing me from receiving this stimulus. So again, WHERE THE * IS MY $600 STIMULUS PAYMENT. And honestly, I could give a frog's fat ass if the error was yours, the IRS's or Joe Schmoe from Kokomos's. I'm asking you because you WERE, until this goat *, my tax preparers. No more. Either way, get this situation * people.
