My Colorado state tax return has not come via mail, there has been a complication with the mailing address. How can I amend the mistake and receive my cheque? Thank you.

I received my federal tax back via direct deposit, but Colorado changed its policy on state returns to all cheques being mailed. I have not received my state tax return cheque and would like to ask for assistance in having the cheque resent via mail or how to correct this mistake. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities,  There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.  Some states process returns quickly and some are very slow.
