My amended return doesn't seem to have gone through.

I amended my return on April 16th, 2017, and it appears it has either been lost, or failed to be received. I had only made two minor errors in my return, and it resulted in me owing about as much as I would have received. Please help.

Did you try to e-file it?  At the beginning of the amended interview you are warned that amended returns can only be filed by the IRS by the old "print and mail" method.  Go back into the program, select to print Form 1040-X and whatever forms you need, print them and file by mail.  The address will be in a cover letter.

I did so through Turbo Tax, via the "amend (change) return" option, after it had been accepted by the IRS. Do I still need to print and mail in the return? Why would it be an option on the site if it wouldn't work?

Yes you have to print and mail amended returns.  And if you have a Tax Due you need to include a check with it.
