My 2023 tax return was changed by IRS. The overpayment to be applied to 2024 was eliminated. It is still carried forward to 2024 return. How do I change this amount?

On the Deductions&Credits page.

Go down the menu to "Estimates & Other taxes Paid"

Go into the "Other Income Taxes" menu selection

One of the menu items in there is a selection for "2023 refund applied to 2024 Federal Taxes"
