Your tax return has been processed. Refund issue date: 02/09/2017. what does this mean?

I'm not sure how to find out if this will be added to my bank account like my federal taxes are set up, or if the state mails a paper check?

More than likely, seeing that you opted to have your refund direct deposited (from your question), that your state refund will also be direct deposited. Just be patient 🙂 it'll get there! 🙂 usually takes a few days after you've received notice, for it to clear through your bank.
