Misspelled first name

If my first name was misspelled on my return, would that cause a delay in processing my return? It's been since March 31 I e-filed, but I've yet to receive any correspondence from the IRS and my refund status is listed as still being processed.

No. The IRS only matches the first 4 letters of the last name - the first name is ignored.
