Missing Federal Refund

I’ve been waiting for over a month, and trying to contact everyone I can to get my refund. I have yet to get any response. I’m starting to get the feeling we’re being robbed unless you annoy The company enough to look into your case. It’s been way too long for no kind of feedback. I’m discouraged from filing through TurboTax when they’re not prompt at all.

If it has been over 5 business days since it was supposed to be deposited per the IRS and you haven't received your refund, please reach out to your financial institution first.  If they have no record, you will then need to reach out to the IRS to run a trace.  For more information on this, please see the IRS Help Page here.

I never received a date for my return. When I access the website or call they have no information available for me.

Please see Why is there no record of my return at Where's My Refund (WMR)? for reasons why you may be unable to track the status of your refund. You can also try calling the WMR automated hotline at 1-800-829-1954 to check the status of your refund.

Refunds usually take about 21 days after the IRS has accepted your e-filed return. Although, sometimes it can take longer. The IRS is taking more than 21 days (and up to 90 to 120 days) to issue refunds for tax returns with the Recovery Rebate Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit. You all suck. Can you just be a real human and call us. Or at least help us walk through it over the phone. I can guarantee you I will never be using TurboTax ever again. This has happened every single year I filed with you all. And I don’t get a lot back I can’t imagine how many people are waiting on thousands of dollars from you scam artists.

It took me an hour and a half just to get through to the robot and then she couldn’t even forward me to a representative. So disappointed in this new technology system
