Everyone I know who did their taxes the same day as me has received there refund, but I haven't..is it because I elected to use my funds to pay my turbo tax fees

There are a number of factors to the timing of a refund.

If you are receiving a Earned Income Tax Credit or Child Tax Credit, the IRS has delayed releasing your tax refund. Your tax return may be more complicated than other people.

Maybe I asked the question wrong because I know about the delay and the people I know who received their refunds had the same tax credits as me.

We all have the 22nd as a date to receive our refunds, yet they received theirs on the 16th...just was curious what was going on.

Your refund is not delayed by TurboTax. The IRS just has a lot of these to issue and some were released before the holiday weekend.
