I go to the WMR site and it says We can not provide any info about your refund. To call IRS and give Ref# 9001 what does this mean

@keitha the csr told me she couldn’t check on my return yet to see if they were other codes on my return.:( fingers crossed mine and everyone else’s update on Saturday.

@keitha I was told the same thing yesterday that it was a glitch to the system with that code and keep to checking the website. I was told after the 21 days if nothing has changed to call them back. I have never had this happen and I’ve been using turbo for a long time now. Smh. I hope it changes by Saturday or next week

Mine never changed the entire 21 days, then when I called they said I'll be receiving a letter.

That I can't tell you, you're gonna have to wait it out and see. They said I would be receiving one, but system doesn't show one even being mailed. Mine doesn't say being processed or anything only received.

I called the IRS about the 9001 code, and she basically told me that my return is still processing and everything looked good. I just have to what the 21days from Jan. 28th to see if anything happens. Pretty much people who filed early is seeing this message. Hope this helps

Why they tell me to be expecting a letter? I have the same reference # 9001 like everyone else. I'm confused.....:-\

To be honest I don’t believe what they tell me at times bc one guy told me mine was gone be on hold and I was gone have to wait longer. But the next day I called again and a lady told me that it was a glitch in the system bc of that code and mine was till processing and that she didn’t see anything for me to do or didn’t see that I needed to send anything in right now. So basically it’s a waiting process until after the 21 days. It really sucks this year for all of us to have to go through this just to get our returns. So good luck

Thanks Snodnak, let me ask you one thing have you called the 1800# and check the status? Because when I call it doesn't tell me anything it just transfer me to an agent.

Yes it does me the same way. You have that extension number 362? That’s the number I have to use when I call to check and it transfers me as well. So I’m just waiting until the 19th. And then I’m going to call back. I’m hoping we get some updates by Saturday. I will keep you updated as well.
