So I THOUGHT I entered both w2 on my return . Apparently I didn’t . Both jobs I made around 7850$ each . I also got the tax credit for my health insurance . I used the full available credit for that . I thought I would make around 2400$ for the previous tax year but it wasn’t even 16000$$. I entered my 1095, and only one w2.. it said my refund would be around 1890$ , but then I quickly saw I forgot the second w2, but I just got a notification that the IRS accepted my return . According to several tax estimators adding my second w2 will make my refund around 500$ lower .. I wasn’t able to enter the 1095 info on the estimator so idk if that effects anything . I don’t know what will happen next .. I am beating myself up .. does anyone have any clue what will happen next ?( and yes I will file an amended return !!)

Don’t be upset. Happens to thousands of people. You will get it all worked out but you have to be patient. Amended returns can take many months to process.
Don’t do anything until your return is processed and your tax liability is settled. Then you can amend your return.
so since it says “accepted “ , and I can’t amend online just yet , I should just wait ? I’m kicking myself . I don’t know if they’ll flag me and won’t give me anything at all or what bc Turbo tax says my refund would be around1850$ or so and with everything correct it would be around 500$ lower
Right, you will get the refund, deposit it. Then, you will amend and pay it back. Follow these steps:
So they will probably send me the 1800$ and then when I amend I pay back the access ? This error shouldn’t cause them to flag me and I end up getting nothing right ? I’ve seen sometimes the irs “fixes” it for you . Ugh so upset

IRS computers should see your second W-2 and make the correction to your return for you.
That is why you wait to see what happens before you send in any amendment.
Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.
You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend if a TurboTax update changes your return or for any other reason,
SUCH AS, you discover you did not report all wages.
AND, to find your AGI next year.
