Just got a mail from IRS claiming we owe $29k in tax in 2021

I've just got a letter from the IRS claiming we owe $29 in additional tax in 2021. The income in question is the 1099 income from company A. My wife did some contract work for company A in 2021 and was paid $633.20. In the letter, the IRS says my wife made $63,320 in 1099 income from company A. They added 2 zeroes in her income! What is the fastest way to appeal this? I have the 1099-NEC form from company A, bank statements in 2021, and the scanned check from company A with the amount of $633.20. Needless to say, this is very frustrating to us. Do I need to call company A as well? They'll probably be confused since they sent us the correct 1099-NEC form.

The letter should have included instructions to disagree or appeal the tax owed. Follow those directions.
