- Select File.
- Select Start or Revisit or Continue next to Step 2 Your refund/payment info.
- Select See all options on the Get your refund up to 5 days early screen.
- Choose Direct deposit and follow the onscreen instructions.
I've seen a couple users report anecdotally a workaround that worked at least for them. They reported they had to first select to receive the refund by check in the mail, then on a following screen there were some options including direct deposit where the bank info could be changed. That followup screen was probably the "Get your refund up to 5 days early" screen where they could look at "See all options." They probably would have gotten to that screen anyway if they had just continued on in the first place. In any case, have you encountered the "Get your refund up to 5 days early" screen?
