After receiving my federal taxes for 2016, I had to amend them on feb 1 due to a w2 I received from Panda express. It refiled my original fed tax but not my amended one

It is too early to amend 2016.
Amended returns (1040X) must be filed by mail, and take about 16 weeks to process. You cannot just go in and change numbers and then resubmit..
