Issue with full service

Hello!  Please help me route this written concern to a supervisor or someone of authority.

I would first like to say that I have been a TurboTax customer for many years and have always been very happy!  This year, my taxes were slightly more complicated so I decided to purchase full service.  The preparer who helped my initially file was SOO helpful and kind. 

After we filed I took a deeper look and found that one line was missing info on my state tax form (line 16).  This was the Wisconsin School Property tax credit.  This credit allows you to take up to $300 off your state tax liability based on property taxes paid OR rent paid in the tax year.  Line 16 specifically asks how uch rent was paid in the tax year.

I opened a case on with the full service option on TT and got assigned Shameka who gave me a call.  I explained that a credit got missed on line 16 on state form 1 and asked if she could help me correct.  I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally by anyone in a professional setting.  In an arrogant tone she sated “you do not qualify because you did not pay property taxes.”  She became further hostile and said “the question that the system asks us say you don’t qualify!”  I attempted to keep the conversation cordial polite and explained to her that I am reading the Wisconsin department of revenue instructions and it clearly includes rent paid.  I suggested maybe the software they use my have an error and asked to take a deeper look.  She said “unfortunately I can’t help you sir and ended the call abruptly.”

If your calls are recorded, I encourage you to listen to our conversation yourself to hear the unprofessionalism and arrogance.

I decided to call the department of revenue and talk to someone who confirmed I was right about the tax credit.  I had to file the amendment myself which took my around 3 hours because you have to refill out the entire forms, in addition to entering every box from every tax form AND upload PDF copies to file the amendment individually.

I would like, at the very least to have my payment for “full service” tax service refunded.  This was not the service by “full service tax experts” as advertised.

Please forward this to a supervisor or manager for review, I would hate to have any other customers deal with the unprofessionalism Shameka displayed to me.
