Is there an easier way to get a hold of the IRS to verify my identity? My taxes have been held since March and I can't seem to get anyone on the phone

Can I verify my identity online through the IRS even though I can't get into my account? I can't even use ID me because I don't have anything with my social security number on it to verify that.

Verify online at IRS Identity Verification Service website
                                             or
By phone at the toll-free number listed on your  letter
                                             or

If you cannot verify online or by phone, make an appointment at a local IRS office.
