Is there a delay in returns getting accepted, I filed on the 6th and it is still not accepted.

The IRS will not be accepting any type of 2018 tax return until January 28, 2019.  TurboTax will send you an email when the IRS either rejects or accepts the tax return provided you have entered your current email address for your TurboTax account.
