Is there a contact to ask about my amended return? It says it was received 03/29/25 but it is still not processed and the tracker says they’re working on May submissions.

I filed my amended return and it seems like there must be some kind of issue since it hasn’t moved passed received. It says if was received 03/29/25 and to check the tracker for where they are at on processing returns. I wasn’t too worried as the tracker was in March still up until the past few weeks. Now it says “Individual returns Electronically filed Form 1040 returns are generally processed within 21 days. We’re currently processing paper returns received during the months below. Form 1040 series Original: July 2025 Amended: May 2025” So other than the tracker, how can I figure out what’s going on?

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.
