If you did not use the exact same account and user ID to prepare your 2021 and 2022 tax returns then you were not able to transfer your 2021 data in, and will not be able to see your 2021 AGI using your BF's account.
(and by the way.....when you use online TurboTax, you get ONE return per fee. If you and your BF used the same account and user ID for two returns, the second return will overwrite the first one and it will be lost forever.)
Where do I find my AGI?
https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/how-do-i-find-last-year-s-agi/01/25947
Your 2021 tax return shows your 2021 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) If you filed a joint return then the AGI is the same for each of you.
Form 1040 line 11
If you are using the same TT account that you used last year, you should also be able to find this number in your Tax Home for 2021
If entering the amount from your 2021tax return does not work, then try entering “0” instead. If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.
You can get a free transcript of your past return from the IRS:

Note: If you filed late or amended your return, your correct 2021 AGI may not be in the system.

Note: If you mail your federal return, you will also need to mail your state return. You will not be able to e-file your state return.

Thank you for the tips!
We filed with the same app but it allowed me to do a different log in. His return is fine as far as I know. Mine was rejected because of the AGI but I did file late.
I will try the IRS link and see if it matches the number I had from last year.
Can I not edit it unless I’m using it now that turbo tax isn’t free? I didn’t see mine anywhere, but it pulled up my 2021 one I did.
you cant see that you filed because your AGI was REJECTED.
try again with the correct AGI.
I mean I can’t see it on TurboTax to fix it, I was asking if I need the app to do that since I filed through it, and in 2021 it was online in the browser.
That’s the issue.
If you filed late, enter AGI = 0.
you hae to log back in to the account you used to file your return this year, not last year.
if your BF files later, it will wipe out your tax return.
TurboTax Online can only hold one tax return per account.
I understand that. Are you seeing my actual question? Lol
Why can’t I do it in the browser? Because I filed through the app? It’s the same account both years. I used chrome last year and purchased software this year.
It did not do that, he bought one where other household members can file.
I literally just googled it and you can have up to 5 people.
@laur791631 You did not explain clearly when you said you used your BF's TurboTax. If BF has the CD/download then up to five federal returns can be e-filed using his desktop software. That is completely different from using the online version of the software in which you have to "log in" to an account.
If you used the desktop software you are still going to need your 2021 AGI in order to e-file. You can get that AGI from line 11 of your 2021 Form 1040. If your 2021 AGI does not work, then try using zero instead.
So because it was done on the downloaded version, that’s why I can’t log in online and fix it? Right? Needs to be the type of turbo tax I filed under?
I understand what I need to do with the AGI now, thank you. 🙂
