Is the amount of my refund next to my code 846 on my transcript reliable/accurate?

Hi,

My Transcript (Code 846 "refund issued" 02-23-2023) and the IRS website WMR show the same date and amount for my tax refund. This amount is the same as TurboTax online told me would be my expected refund. The IRS2GO app also shows "Refund Approved" with the 02/23/2023 date. At his point is it safe to assume I did my taxes correctly and the IRS agrees? Or might it still be changed/adjusted? Can I rely on getting this amount? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sean

The IRS can always come back and question something but rarely after a refund has been approved.  I would go by the date the IRS gave you on their website.  That is the day you should have it in your bank account.

Thank you. And that's good to hear. I'm was concerned about the amount changing than the exact date so I hope the "refund approved" matches the TT/Transcript/WMR refund amount. I shall know soon enough! Thanks again.
