Is anyone else having trouble amending their 2020 tax return to claim missing stimulus payments ?

I amended my 2021 return to claim missing stimulus payments from 2021 plus the child tax credit and I was able to. Now I am trying to amend my 2020 tax return to claim missing stimulus from year 2020 and it doesn’t give me an option for missing stimulus payments. Quick back story my son was born 2019 I never added him to my taxes since because I had lost his social  security number. With Covid and offices being closed I struggled to get his social security number up until this year. I got it in April after filing 2021 so I amended my return to add him and it says I’m due a refund for the missing stimulus from 2021 plus the child tax credit. But once I tried to amend my 2020 return to add him for that year it shows he’s added to it but yet doesn’t say I’m do for any payments nor does it give me an option to claim the missing stimulus payments for 2020 . Sorry it’s long post but not sure how to claim those missing payments from 2020. And my amended return that I filed in April still has not been adjusted still processing

The Recovery Rebate Credit will be found in the FEDERAL REVIEW section. ( you should see "Let's make sure you got the right stimulus amount”)  If you are eligible it will end up on line 30 of your 2020 Form 1040.
