IRS still shows my filing status as waiting for process after 3 months.

our federal return was accepted online on April 7 of this year.  I have checked the status with IRS several times but it remains that the status is "waiting on processing".  Anyone else experiencing this delay?  We are frustrated in getting any response from the IRS.  Can anyone suggest a way to contact the IRS for help?
