Instead of going on line this year, I bought a hard copy of Turbo Tax. Now you do not recognize I have already submitted my tax return

Instead of going on line this year, I bought a hard copy of Turbo Tax. Now you do not recognize I have already submitted my tax return
I bought the hard copy also. I did not have any problems

For 2018? Or do you want to transfer from your 2017 online return? I can tell you how.
If you used the Desktop program your return is only on your computer. Desktop and online do not sync or talk to each other. They are totally separate. Your online account won't know you used the Desktop program.
Did you efile 2018? To check the filing status,
In the Desktop program open your return and go up to menu item
File > Electronic Filing > Check Electronic Filing Status
Or you can check your efile status here
