We included my dependent sons 1098-T and 1099-Q and expenses on our taxes, and he also included them on his. He also had the expenses wrong so ended up with additional income. The expenses on our taxes are correct so he owes no additional tax for income from his 529. We are amending his return to remove the 1098-T, 1099-Q, and education expenses. When we print out the amended taxes you are supposed to provide changed forms - but since the forms were deleted there is nothing to send with the 1040X. Should we send the original ones from his original filing with "deleted" written on them? His income changes slightly with this amendment due to the income added when he had the expenses wrong.

You do not have to send forms with the amended return that would not have to be included in the return. On the amended return there is a space for text to explain why your amending your return. That explanation will tell the IRS why those prior forms are not included with the amended return.
