In my tax timeline it says that I owe $1 in the federal return box. Does this mean that I am not going to get a federal return?

Ca state return says $5, usually I get money back, but this year just seems weird and is not showing me a federal refund total.

If your return says you owe $1 then you are not getting a federal refund. You may possibly be eligible for a state refund if your state has a state income tax

Why amending tax return with missing spouse Roth IRA contribution of $8000 for a total of $16,000 joint return doesn't affect federal refund with income of $81,000?
