I was wondering if I had to print and send something in before I get my taxes. I'm having to have a paper check sent and I was wondering if I was still getting it and when could I expect it.

If you e-filed you should not have to print anything to mail, unless you received notice from the IRS concerning a particular form that couldn't be e-filed.
If you e-filed, check the status of your return.
Here's help for checking your e-file status:

In TurboTax if you don't see Pending or Accepted as the status, you may not have completed the e-file and you need to Transmit your return.
If you mailed your return: The IRS asks you wait 4 weeks after you mail your return before looking up your refund at Where's My Refund?
Most Federal REFUNDS are issued within 21 business days of the return being accepted by the IRS (this is not based on when you filed). If you are having a check mailed, you will have to add 7-10 business days to the date in Where's my refund to account for mailing time.
Please keep in mind that once you e-file or mail your return only the IRS has any control over it.
The IRS will notify TurboTax when your return is accepted, there are no more updates given for the next 2 stages of Processing and Approval.
You have to go to Where's my Refund to get any further information.

If you qualified for the Earned income credit or Additional Child Tax Credit here is more information about the PATH Act delay, but keep in mind that the IRS site for Where's my refund, https://www.irs.gov/refunds is the final authority.

While most refunds are issued within 21 days of the return being accepted, not the date it was filed, sometimes there can be delays.
Please see the following information about contacting the IRS if it has been more than 21 days of acceptance:

If my return says ready to be mailed when should I expect my refund to be in the mail?
This means that you have chosen to file your return by mailing it to the IRS. You will need to print and mail. More details have been provided for you below if you wish to switch from mailing to e-filing.
