@brenid21  i filed 1/30 had the regular 1 bar and we are processing your return message just on sunday it changed to no bar still processing and tt152 and amount still. I never had the path message yet.

@jalp1986 if it’s been more than 21 days and you really need your return and you already id verify (if that’s what they need) then yes ask for advocate. I was lucky that the Tax a advocate lady I got didn’t ask for lots of evidence and info. But I know some do give the run around before they get to IRS about your return. Also the Advocate lady was amazing and communicated with me with every single call or step she made. Within a week like I mentioned I got my return after waiting for so long. Again I had Filed 1/29/16 and got it with the help of a Tax Advocate in 3/22/16.

@mailand400 you should be ok. I didn’t do anything special this year. It just updated for me very quickly, I can safely say maybe luck? In the past years I only had the still processing with 152 act. (2016 i had to id verify for first time) and this year PATH Message for the furst time but I don’t think PATH Message is anything special or to make it faster. Pretty much the same from still processing and act 152, I read act 152 is good news.

I think it updates everyday to be Honest. Mines changed from Still Processing with 152act to just processing message and to check every 24hrs to then the PATH in 4 day Period. Then from PATH to Still processing again in 3 days got DDD so I believe they do update it everyday, it just won’t change on your WMR unless they make a change to your return like Approval or something. If they need you to ID verify WMR will tell you the sent out a Letter. And it’ll stay like that on WMR until you verify.
