No they do not. You can track and get an update on your return by using the source below. Also if it has been more than 21 days since your returns were accepted you can contact the IRS directly. That is provided also on how to contact them.

If you were required to verify your identity, it typically takes about nine weeks after that to receive your refund. And no, refunds are not required to be issued by April 15.
