Do I really need to send a copy of the return with my check payment if I e-filed? Don't they already have my return?

The 1040-V payment voucher says to send payment with the return. I e-filed. They should already have my return.

If you have e-filed your return, you do not need to send another copy of it when you submit your payment and 1040-V.
