If you don't want to wait for the 2017 program to come out in 2018 then to use the 2016 program you can BUT you CANNOT transfer in the 2016 info (like you could with the 2015) AND the return must be mailed in. You will need to start a new file and enter everything in manually so print a copy of the 2016 return to use as a template.
Before you start make sure to save the 2016 PDF file under a new file name so you don't accidentally overwrite the 2016 archived file.
