Accidentally started another tax return?

My Federal was accepted on the 21st of February, I accidentally started another tax return. But that one says still in progress, preparing your tax return is the status. Did I mess up my accepted return? As stated the accidental one is still in progress status.

Accidentally started another tax return?

If you didn't actually transmit/e-file the 2nd one, it will not affect the first one.

Accidentally started another tax return?

I stoped at the “sign and file taxes” page. I attached a photo file this is for the accidental tax return I’ve done.

They are prepared, but are they are not filed.  Therefore, they were not sent to the IRS/State.
