If the IRS shows that my second stimulus payment was already mailed out but i have not received it yet, should i claim it on my tax 2021 return?

My stimulus came in on 1/1/2021. Do I clam it on my 2020 taxes?

@pacheco74-g, The best thing to do is to wait until February 12 to see if you receive your stimulus check.  If you have not received it by filing day, you would state on your return that it was not received and you will be able to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit.  

@scott423j, Yes, you would state that you received the stimulus payment.  You would not be eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit.
