Hi my says topic 152 what do that means
Can you provide more detail about the exact issue you are experiencing?
How are you able to see the information in your Tax Account Transcript? I thought you had to wait for it to be mailed to you.
@Miguelina gomez See this IRS site regarding Topic No.152.
@flcountrygal you can create an account online to view your tax return transcript. You can request a transcript or a copy of your return on the IRS Get Transcript site, in which you would not have to pay. Keep in mind you will need to create an account with the IRS, which is free to do!
My mother in laws status bars went away and showed the PATH Act message and she filed after I did. Mine still says it’s being processed is there a reason for that or do some update later than others?
Yes, some returns do in fact process later than others. It may take longer than the usual 24-48 hours in some cases for your return to get accepted. It's like traveling, sometimes traffic cause delays and that happens in cyberspace as well. Heavy traffic sometimes causes slower arrival time. See this FAQ regarding What does pending mean?
It was accepted just hasn’t changed at all since January 27th, 2020
It could take several days up to weeks to progress from being accepted. See this FAQ on What's next after my return has been accepted.
Can someone tell me how to check my transcripts? I hear a lot of people saying that and I have never done that. I always relied on the irs tool ...
To view the transcripts from the IRS - Follow the link here. It will provide instructions on how to do this:
