If it is interest simply enter it as such using the "Interest on Form 1099-INT". Don't worry about entering it "as if" you received a W-2 when you didn't. If you look at Schedule B

you'll see that there's nothing there that states "this income was reported on a 1099-INT" and "this income was not reported on a 1099-INT." It just lists payee and amount.
