If I owe to my state for my return, how do I know if/when it comes out of my bank account?

I owe for both federal and state but cannot remember if I set it up to come out of my account for state. I’m doing payments for federal I know for sure.

The best way to check is to log in to your return and go through the file tab again so you can see how you elected to pay your state taxes. To get back into your return since you already filed your taxes is to:

1. Sign into your Turbo Tax account

2. Click on tax home or take me to my return

3. Scroll down till you see Your tax returns and documents

4. Click on your 2018 return, and then select add a state (you are not actually adding a state, this just prompts the correct menu)

5. Navigate to where you need to on the return
