If i did not select filed as dependent and high school five months and amended while filing status stated "processed" can i cancel amendment and still receive refund?

If you did not print and mail and mail the amended tax return then nothing was filed for the amendment and you will receive your original refund if your original was accepted.

you can still amend later if you need to but the amended return has to be filed by mail and it will take the IRS 12-16 weeks to process it. Amend instructions follow:
