This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update and show the status. The 21 days is just an estimated time frame. The IRS began processing returns on 2/12, you may not find a record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated.

Since Turbo Tax will not have the status of your refund, continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.

Filed my taxes March 11th. The status bars haven't popped up in 2 weeks now and I'm getting the message that my taxes are still being processed. Its been 25 day. How would I know if something is wrong?

It’s only for fraud and theft precautions is this your first year filing with turbo tax ? if so it’s a I’d verification next year you will not have this problem

Then you should be fine it’s just backed logged they are behind really bad the next deposit dates will be around the 12 of march if you have not received a letter by now or an e mail of a return issue or verification it’s just waiting in most cases deposits hit and it will still not update but they do updates around 12am daily

If you’ve already filed, processing usually takes 21 days (electronic returns) or six weeks (paper returns).

Thats what I got when I went to verify my id on the irs site.

Right now most returns are up to about 30 days or 21 days if accurate you should be getting yours soon between this week or next your in the proximity of the dates of your accepted date

Ok so for you that’s good no identity needed your just waiting on deposit and process your set to go just keep checking with the 25 day wait you would have received a letter but if you did not it’s just processing that’s needed no verification
