Solved: I went into Where's My Refund and the status bar was gone, and the message said We are still processing your return we will give you a date soon. Should I be concerned?

Freaking out!! I had one bar until this morning. I now have no bars. Does this mean something is wrong with my refund? Have I been audited? Where is my money? I’ve never had any issues before!

I never had a date showing on mine, but the bars disappeared this morning. They were there yesterday.

I e-filed my 2020 tax on Feb 23rd, 2021, and get accepted email from Turbotax. However, I went into Where's My Refund on Mar 1st, 2021, I got

"We cannot provide any information about your refund. Be sure to:

. Verify your filling date.

. check with your tax preparer or tax software provider, or

. verify your received your electronically filed acknowledgement email"

I went into Where's My Refund this morning again, the information was changed to:

"We cannot provide any information about your refund. You must wait at least 24 hours after you get the acknowledgement e-mail that your tax return was received by the IRS"

And I also went into my IRS account. and I got the following:

"Your 2020 Tax Return Has Not Been Processed.

Any one knows what this mean?

Anyone have accepted date of 2/11/2021? If so, have you gotten your refund yet? Any updates? I had child tax credit.

Is this message also showing for this filing year? I just got this message today after I did have a status bar for me return as processed. I filled on 2/12/21 and still have gotten nothing back. I know other people who have filed almost identical to me that have gotten their return back days ago?

I filed on 1/29/21. Return excepted 2/11/21. Status bar was there and is gone as of today. Same thing happened to me last year and I was pulled for an Audit because of Earned child income credit. I have a feeling they pulled me again for audit. I received my 2019 return this January 2021. Ridiculous!!!!

That happened to me this year and last year. Last yeat when it changed I ended up getting my refund a couple days later. It could of been a coincidence but I'm crossing my fingers that's what it means this time also. 😊🤞

I have not yet received it. I am assuming it will be here on Friday. I'm pretty sure that federal returns get deposited on Wednesdays and Fridays.

I understand that was last year 2020 when you filed and that had happened. Well, its happening to me now this year! Did you ever end up having any issues after all, or did everything end up going through? @JenniferSmith87

So - Update; Still no refund. State taxes said DD date of 03/03/21, no deposit?

Federal taxes still say processing, I did call the IRS and they told me that the first date of accepted returns is the 12th, not the 11th, and that I should wait at least until the week of the 8th (week after my 21 days) before calling to see if everything is OK. As of today (day 21) no deposit or email from Turbotax to say it's on the way.

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.
