I’ve received a letter from IRS informing me that I need to file a form 8936, clean vehicle credits. I purchased a Tesla in 2024. How should I proceed with the amend?

I’m eligible to receive the incentive and it was already discounted in the original price at Tesla.

Assuming you have already filed your return, you can amend and add Form 8936 to your return.   How do I amend my tax return?
