I received the email last April from TurboTax saying I'm eligible for unemployment refund and I didn't have to do anything except it's February 2022 and I'm still waiting

I even received a letter backing November saying they tried to deposit it but couldn't. Bank account was hacked I had to close it so they say to wait while they do their research which is 8 weeks but that was November and again is February just wondering what I'm going to see that money if anybody could help I'd be awesome

At your IRS online account, you can find whether a payment was issued to you that you did not receive.  You can also find this information on your tax transcript.

If a refund has been issued, your payment may have been returned by your financial institution.  Mail or fax a completed IRS Form 3911 Taxpayer Statement Regarding Refund to request a payment trace.
